Occasions Caterers was founded in 1986 by twin brothers, Eric and Mark Michael with big ideas in a tiny apartment kitchen. Believing that food at catered parties should have the same high-quality ingredients, inventiveness and style as the best restaurants anywhere and knowing that the people preparing and serving the meal should be as gracious, knowledgeable and polished as the best service ever experienced; they created Occasions Caterers and became the standard-bearer for catered events in D.C. and beyond.
